Things to Consider

  • Have you completed your domain registration and web hosting setup?  If not, then click here.

  • Know who you are, what you do and what you do best.  You know your company better than we ever could.

  • Determine what the goals of your website design are.

  • Determine who your audience is and who you want to include/exclude from your audience.

  • Determine how you plan to market your website once it is completed.

  • Compile a list of minimum criteria for the site as well as a list of features that would be desirable.

  • Know what content you will want and need to have on the website.  This will determine the entire outline of the site and must be established early in the development process.

  • Be prepared to give me an idea of the aesthetics of your site.  This can include colors, imagery and even adjectives to give us an idea of the feeling you want to convey.  Compile a list of websites that you like the look of.  They do not have to be within your company's field of business.  Explain what elements you like and don't like about each website and why it might work for you.
